Fire Warden (Emergency & Evacuation Techniques)

Purpose:

The purpose of this training program is to provide participants
with the necessary skills and knowledge in order to establish and effective emergency control organisation.

Course Duration: 8 hours .

Course Format: Can be offered partially online or fully onsite

Content:

This training program contains emergency response actions to:
>    Fire
>    Disaster
>    Bomb Threat
>    Medical Emergency
>    Robbery
>    Threats of Intimidation and Violence

Learning Outcomes:

On completion of the training program participants should be able to:
a)  Explain the need for organised emergency procedures
b)  Be able to assist and/or setup an emergency control organisation (E.C.O.)
c)  Be able to assist and/or formulate an emergency procedures plan
d)  Identify the emergency codes
e)  Carry out action responses to
      >    Fire
      >    Disaster
      >    Bomb Threat
      >    Hazardous Substances
      >    Medical Emergency
      >    Robbery
f)   Explain the selection and operation procedures for: fire extinguishers, fire alarms, fire hose
     reels and fire blankets.
g)  Explain the basic chemistry of fire
h)  Define the role of key personnel
i)   Explain roles and responsibilities.

Assessment:

Participants will be expected to show competency through practical demonstration and a written exam.
