Monitor Hazardous Atmospheres (PUAFIR307A)

Description:

This subject covers all formal competency standards and enables the participant to monitor atmospheric conditions, measure contaminants, interpret readings recommend action to take based on that interpretation and the effects on humans exposed to hazardous atmospheres.

Content:

>    Prepare and plan for monitoring
>    Take precautions to safeguard health
>    Take atmospheric reading using advanced meters
>    Maintain equipment

Pre-requisites:

>    Have completed an accredited Breathing Apparatus program
>    Have current first aid qualifications
>    Ability to work in a team environment

Duration:

Delivered onsite. 1-2 Days depending on depth of coverage required.

Assessment:

Writen assessment and practical demonstration

Award:

TAFE issued certificate & transcript.
