Description:

This unit is designed to give the participant the skills and knowledge and competency to conduct Road Accident Rescue operations as part of a team.

Content:

>    Prepare for road accident rescue
>    Establish & maintain rescue scene safety
>    Manage Casulties
>    Remove casualties from entrapment
>    Disentanglement
>    Equipment & maintenance
>    Conclude accident rescue operations

Pre-requisites:

Have completed and posses current formal first aid qualifications, preferably with advanced resusitation, oxygen therepy and defibrilator

Duration:

Delivered onsite. 2-5 Days depending on depth of coverage required.

Assessment:

Writen assessment and practical demonstration

Award:

TAFE issued certificate & transcript.
